The Intensity of a Jump Program
September 24th, 2009 by admin
I have heard that training and coaching programs like the Jump Manual can be very intense, especially because of their use of plyometrics. How do I know, without spending money, if I am up for the physical challenge of these programs? I’m concerned about past issues I have had with tendinitis and joint pain. I understand that these programs focus on repetition and little or short muscle rest when training. How do I know my body is ready for such strenuous workouts? I certainly don’t want to end up worse off than I already am, but the thought of exploding through the air for a dunk is sweet.
