I Was Against it at First
October 29th, 2009 by admin
When my son first told me that he wanted to go into the army, I was really against it. I was afraid that he wouldn’t learn anything but how to kill other people. But then he told me about LDRSHIP. It is an acronym that describes what the army believes in, and what it tries to teach its soldiers. It stands for Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Selfless Service, Honor, Integrity, and Personal Courage. When I saw that, I realized that my son would be learning a lot of valuable character traits from his service. I am still scared, but I have stopped fighting his choice.

My Latest Fishing Trip
October 24th, 2009 by admin
I took an exmormon fishing and we laughed because he told me he caught me a delicious bass. I’m so glad that even an exmormon can appreciate Napoleon Dynamite humor even though he’s a big fan of Nephi and Deseret Industries. I swear we spent most of the day saying things like, “Tina! Come get some ham!” and, “I see you’re drinking 1%. Is that ’cause you think you’re fat?” It seems no matter how many times I see that movie, it never gets old. Truth be told, neither one of us caught any fish and we went to Skippers afterwards.

Doing An ISEF Science Fair Project
September 30th, 2009 by admin
I need to do a science fair project, and I am feeling a little bit overwhelmed by the whole thing. It just seems like every time I try to get the best ISEF science fair project ideas, they just don’t work out the way that I want them to. This time, I am going to make sure I am going to pick one that will make the most sense for me to complete it. I think the one that I want to try would be whether or not the age of a hen affects the thickness of the egg shells they lay.

Can I Get An Associates Degree At An Occupational Therapy Assistant School?
September 25th, 2009 by admin
I know that I can find really good occupational therapy assistant schools to choose from, and that I’ll be able to choose from among the many courses that they offer, but I want to know if I’m going to get an actual degree or just a certificate. It turns out that I can get an Associates Degree while learning from other occupational therapists in such courses as treatment planning and implementation, human life span development and other really interesting courses. Now I’m excited about going to school and getting my degree, I like that I’ll be learning from others who are currently in the field, teaching me everything I need to know.

How To Create Healthy Powerhouse Sandwich Recipes
September 11th, 2009 by admin
To create a healthy powerhouse sandwich, use your imagination, by including herbs such as fresh basil leaves, cilantro or fresh parsley. Fresh watercress gives a sandwich a great nippy taste; in addition it gives an appealing look and has virtually no calories. Fresh chives, which contain sulphur oil (which may lower blood pressure if one consistently eats a large amount), homemade cottage cheese fresh romaine lettuce, is low in calories and high in fiber. Try to choose the dark green leafy lettuce; spinach which is full of vitamin A and folate, and high in Vitamin C and potassium, is an excellent choice for sandwiches as it is also a vegetarian source of protein.

Things Can Change Almost Instantly
September 8th, 2009 by admin
Things can change at any point in time. This is why you may want to be sure to control everything that you can. As an example some websites have been shut down over time. If you keep your information such as personal information on a website is eventually shut down you will lose that information. But if you use a godaddy coupon and obtain your own domain name you can create your own site put up information and never worry about losing it. It is not the losing it that makes me worried but the fact that you have put up the information and people are going there to find it and now it is gone.

Avoiding Reinstalling Drivers
August 22nd, 2009 by admin
Performing a driver scan online is one of the best ways you can keep your computer up to date. Because of the way computer drivers work, it’s important that you’re updating them regularly, or you could run into problems which could cause your system to slow down, or even become unresponsive. This could mean disaster.Once the driver scan is underway, it will take only a few moments to scan your computer and make sure all of your drivers are up to date. For any drivers which are not up to date, you’ll need to see the page which the scanner links you to, which will provide you with the proper downloads.

Tutoring Helped Me Choose My College Course
August 5th, 2009 by admin
I had problems learning all subjects while in high school. Hence I sought the assistance of a tutoring service. They were happy to oblige and arranged for a private multi-subject tutor for me. That tutor played a main role in helping me discovering my passion. Apart from teaching the subject lessons he also taught me lessons connected to life. In the condition I was in then, I would have chosen any course I got in any college. But his guidance made me focus on my interest alone. My interest was inclined towards biology and I made the wise decision of taking a course in biology only with his guidance. I don’t know how I’d have suffered now had I taken any other course that deviated from my interest. I followed what my heart said and I don’t regret it. Everything has been going smooth. I thank my tutor for his guidance and encouragement.

Looking for cable in the yellow pages
July 20th, 2009 by admin
I am not happy with my cable supplier. I would like to find a new one but unfortunately they are the only ones in my area with anything worth having. I feel like I am stuck in a situation that I do not want to be in at all. I recently have moved and saw that a new supplier was in my new area. I looked them up in the phone book and set it up so that they would be my cable buisness. I am so much happier with this second one than the first one that I had. They really take care of me.

Hardships of Havanese Ownership
July 12th, 2009 by admin
Havanese dogs require very special attention to some specific needs that are really found only with this particular breed. For example, while they are known for their very unique and nearly hypoallergenic hair this fur requires daily brushing to release dander and to keep the coat as soft as possible – however keeping the fur shorter will cut down on grooming time. Also, the droopy and dropping ears of the Havanese require that these dogs have their ears checked on a regular basis as they are prone to infection and must be kept clean at all times. In addition, havanese dog training in general requires great skill and patience however the end result if often very rewarding. Havanese enthusiasts insist that this little dog’s amazing temperament and friendly disposition more than makes up for the hardships involved in its rearing and training.
