Wow what a party is was last night! Just about everyone in town was there for my annual Halloween bash.
The best foods and drink in the world were served to the hundreds of people who attended.
In the middle of it all and to the surprise of many of my guests were the grater plates.
Yes, I took out a case of the grater plates and passed them around to the many guests at the dinner table and wow, I have never seen so much garlic grated in my life.
You would think I had just re invented the wheel or something.

There’s Plenty to See and Do

There are a lot of family oriented events in our mid sized town. For example, the other day we loaded all our kids in the car and took them to see a bunch of hot air balloons launch. They have a balloon festival. It’s free, but there’s plenty of vendors. There’s everything from Scentsy consultants to people hawking their home woven handicrafts. It’s a lot of fun and a great way to hang out as a family if your are on a budget. Next weekend we’re going to an apple festival. The kids are looking forward to that. There’s always great food there.

While the midwest has already seen its fair share of tornadoes, the Atlantic and Gulf Coasts will soon see tropical storms and hurricanes make their way to those inhabitants. Soon, we will be hearing of the 2009 hurricane names on the news and weather stations. Will this be a record breaking year or not? Only time will tell of what the outcome will be for those living in these areas.
